LIPOLYSISTHERAPY

Genetic disposition is the main reason for local fat depots being resistant to diets or exercise. Some people have tried everything. Their body weight decreases through exercise and a different diet, but there is no impact on the problem areas. These areas include the fat depots under the chin (double chin), the front-side and back-side of the armpits, the male chest, the bottom, the iliac crest (love handles) and hips, the outer thighs (saddlebags) and inner thighs, as well as the area above and next to the kneecaps. These problems can lead to considerable psychological strain and the desire to undergo surgical liposuction as a last resort.

Lipolysistherapy

A new conservative method called “lipolysistherapy” based on the natural essence of soy is becoming more and more popular for patients. The serum is injected in the disturbing adipose tissue. The number of injections depends on the size of the treatment area. The fat cells (lipocytes) start to dissolve during the therapy program, which consists of 2-4 treatment sessions. The process is final, i.e. once a fat cell is dissolved it is not rebuilt like other body tissue.

Carried out by specially trained experts this treatment offers for those patients, assessed to be suitable for this treatment method, a way to reshape the body contour individually without having to undergo surgery.

Dirk Henrik Tschauder (MD) is a specialist in this field and has many years of experience. He was trained at the Lipolysis Network and is a member of their expert team. He is at the same time a member of the International Society of Lipolysistherapy (ISL). Due to his regular international activities he is one of the pioneers in this field in Scandinavia.
